We had great fun researching and collecting information for our Geography and History projects over the past few weeks. We presented them in class last week.

Confirmation

We made our Confirmation on Saturday, we had a wonderful day celebrating.

Internet Safety

We recently had a visit from An Garda Síochána to speak to us about internet safety.

Food Dudes

We enjoyed tasting different types of fruit and vegetables as part of our food dudes healthy eating programme. We will continue to bring in our own fruit and vegetables from home.

Inland Fisheries

We had a visit from the Inland Fisheries yesterday to talk to us about the protection, management and conservation of Ireland`s fisheries and sea angling resources. We saw an exhibition of different fish and small animals that live in our water.

Visit to Dáil Éireann

Sixth class visited Dáil Éireann and the National Museum of Ireland last Thursday. We went on a tour of the Dáil and listened to political debates.  In the National Museum we explored exhibitions of the Viking Age, Ancient Egypt and Medieval Ireland through surviving objects.
