This Week In Room 4

This week one of our classmates Roisin and other girls from Mr.Arkins class went to play a soccer match and they won ! 

Well done ! 

We had a confirmation rehearsal on Thursday in the church at 8pm.

They showed us what to say, we went to confession too. So now were set for Saturday !

On Thursday Aine Cahill came into the school to sing for us and she was amazing !!
One of the songs she sang was White Piano .


The cards are on sale again ! 
One card is 1 euro and a pack of any 5 cards is only 3.50 !

Communion cards 

On Friday we done paired reading with Senior Infants, It was a success ! The Senior Infants were very happy about our visit to their classroom .


We are having our confirmation this Saturday and we are very excited . All of us are going to look FABULOUS !!!

On Thursday the 7th  April we had our Junior Entrepreneur Showcase day.We sold all of our 250 cards.The most popular card was the Birthday Girl, and the least popular was the Congratulations.Also ,we presented a power point presentation to the customers.It showed them the journey of the business from start to finish.We have been working on this business idea for the past two years.We will be selling more cards next Wednesday.

We have been busy all afternoon making Valentine Cards for people we care about.

The week ended with all of us in the class very busy 

doing Market Research

 for our Junior Entrepreneur "Big Idea"

Different groups of us carried out different research with some groups doing surveys of children in our school.

Some of us took part in a focus group with teachers of Infants, 1st and 2nd class

And finally the third group carried out interviews with parents.

We are looking forward to analysing this research next week and making a final decision on the type of story book we will create 

.

Music Workshop

Sixth class really enjoyed the music workshop facilitated by Sue and the music students from Cavan College

The workshop gave the girls lots of confidence and by the end of it lots of the girls were confident enough to sing both in groups and individually.  They also enjoyed composing and performing their group piece. It was great fun

We had great fun leaning some new drama skills and developing our drama skills.
